Miriam Brugmann is an Argentinian illustrator born in Córdoba. Though she is currently based in Rio de Janeiro.
Brugmann’s creative process is sparked by the act of witnessing nature, and society rites. The meeting of a supernatural world with faith conceives new magical beings capable of intervening our daily spaces. Colors and shapes merge creating a new medium of communication, but mostly, of transformation. According to her, even though her universe is mainly visual, words accompany her on her artistic journey.
During recent years, Brugmann has become a prominent figure when it comes to live painting and ceramics. We can enjoy her mythical objects endowed with soul and character in murals and stores throughout the globe - Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, London, Tel Aviv, Peru and Argentina.
